India’s National telecom Backbone and 3G service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) introduces, SMS based tariff Recharging and Plan Migration facility for its GSM Mobile service customers.

With the SMS based STV recharge or Activation of Voice STV/Boosters through SMS, customer who has enough balance in their account can change their tariff plan or recharge with desired STV or Boosters without going Retailer or BSNL outlets to get mobile recharged.

This service allows Extension of validity, Migration to new Plans, Boosters facility For Example if customer wants to recharge with 1 Paisa SMS Plan which offer all Local and National SMS at 1p, can  activate  just by one simple sms STVSMS13 to 53733 (Toll Free). After sending the SMS Balance will reduced by Rs. 11.79 and SMS Pack will be activated. To use this service subscribers prepaid account Balance should be more than Rs. 20 plus the MRP of desired STVs as listed below.

Pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) is all set to launch IP-based next generation network 3G data service with 14 Mbps speed  in Kolkata city in next few days.

The Nation Wide BSNL 3G Up-gradation process was kicked off in December end last year as earlier We exclusively reported on TelecomTalk (See Exclusive: BSNL To Offer 14 Mbps Super Speed On 3G ).

According to Mr. A.K. Garg, PGM, Calcutta Telephones (BSNL Kolkata Circle) ” A Pan-India project to upgrade the BSNL 3G network has kicked off which is expected to be completed in a fortnight and Kolkata is likely to be the first BSNL circle in the country to experience the upgraded 3G network with 14 Mbps Speed.”

On present 3G network problems in Kolkata circle, Mr. Garg also said that “We were working on removing certain bottlenecks. We have succeeded in doing so. 3G services will only get better.”

BSNL which provides 3G services at lowest tariff compare to all other 3G service providers  has more than 75,000 active 3G data customers in Kolkata and Rest of Bengal circles.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has launched a Special Bundling Scheme and promotional Extra talk value offer for its UITC JEEVAN SATHI Calling card subscribers in pan India basis.

With this scheme STD Universal India Telecom Card (UITC) of Rs. 55 will be bundled free of cost with Rs. 110 and Rs. 300 UITC ISD Calling Card.

The subscriber also get Extra Talk value worth Rs. 25 for 15 days from the date of activation as a promotional offer valid up to 31st March 2011.Using UITC prepaid card one can make Local, STD or ISD calls even from a STD/ISD barred telephone.

This card purchased in one city can be used in any other city across BSNL network’s landline/WLL/Mobile phones.As of now there would be no registration charges for this ITC service.

If any subscriber needs a detailed Bill info then he has to pay Rs. 100 to avail the same and is required to specify his Account Number and PIN. (more…)

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today announced the launch of fully loaded, “NESAM” 2G prepaid plan with per second tariff for prospective GSM  subscribers in Tamilnadu circle.

The new Plan is specially tailored for Friends and Family callings and heavy local SMS users. With this plan Subscriber will get Free 200 SMS per month for Life Time and Reduce call rates on 5 Local Numbers (Mobile and Landline) any network of Tamilnadu circle.

BSNL’s “NESAM” Prepaid pack comes at Rs. 49 (SIM + FRC) with the Life Time validity and Initial Free Talk Value of 50 Minutes. The call charges will be 1p/sec for Own Net and 1.2p/Sec for other network calls from Home network. All calls while National Roaming will be charged at 1.2p/sec.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has launched new fully loaded prepaid “MITHRAM” plan with per second tariff for prospective subscribers in Kerala circle.

BSNL “MITHRAM” Plan enables its subscribers to make Calls to 5 Local Number at Reduces call rates 10p/min for BSNL numbers and 30p for any other network number registered under F&F scheme.

The “MITHRAM” plan SIM and FRC- of Rs. 53 along with  Talk Value worth  Rs. 50 and Free 2000 Local and National SMS valid for 6 months is now available at all BSNL CSC  in Kerala circle till 18th June 2011.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today announced the launch of a New Unlimited Call Special Tariff Vouchers for high-end users and re-introduced SMS Pack with Daily 100 SMS Cap for its prepaid 2G and 3G subscribers in Karnataka telecom circle.

BSNL Unlimited Local Call  STV-699 comes at Rs. 699 provides Unlimited Free Local calling facility to BSNL Karnataka Network (Mobile/ Landline) and Free 1600 minutes for any other Network calls valid for 30 days from the date of recharge. Beyond free usage other Network call charges will be applicable as per customers existing plan.

Apart from the above STV, BSNL  Karnataka circle Re-launch its SMS pack-28 with 100 SMS Daily cap as per TRAI regulation. The SMS Pack-28 enables its subscribers to enjoy 80 Local and 20 National SMS Free per day up to 30 days. (more…)

BSNL “Pyari Jodi Prepaid Plan in Details :

State run Pan India 3G Mobile Service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) announced the launch of 3 new Special Recharge Vouchers (Voice) at Rs. 77, Rs. 111, Rs. 222 for its 2G and 3G prepaid GSM Mobile subscribers in Tamilnadu telecom circle.

The new Prepaid SRVs provides full talk time which can be used for Voice Calls to any network and 10,15 and 30 days validity respectively. Full talk value is allowed for the voice calls only in these SRVs with limited validity and will not add to the main account. Hence un-utilized talk time of this SRV will not be carried over to the main account.

These Special Recharge Vouchers (Voice) are allowed for the customers of all plans within the validity available through C Top-up only.The promotional offer will be available up to 31st March 2011.

In an endeavor to provide an exclusive, affordable and dedicated 3G and 2G Mobile telecommunication services, Pan India 3G mobile service operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today slashed its unlimited 2G GPRS and 3G offer.

After huge public outcry state run Telecom company BSNL has come up with something for those customers who remain on roaming most of the time.

As per the recent news, BSNL has revised its postpaid 725 and postpaid 1500 plan. BSNL is going to offer 300 minutes Free incoming calls while on Roaming and 200 minutes of Free outgoing calls while on Roaming in Its POSTPAID plan of 725.

Earlier in this plan, there was no concession on roaming but Local Calls ( within Circle) from BSNL to BSNL are Absolutely Unlimited Free now Roaming rates have been slashed.

Similary in its Postpaid Plan 1500 Incoming Calls will be absolutely Free while in roaming. and a limit of 300 minutes has been imposed on outgoing calls which will be free while in roaming.Both these plans will be effective for 2g and 3g customers from 15th February. (more…)
